1.) Children's Day Out provides some of your child's first friends! By bringing your child to CDO, you allow them the chance to make some of their very first buddies and learn the necessary social skills for them to grow!
2.) Children's Day Out provides a much deserved break for the caregiver! Before becoming Director of CDO, I was a gal looking for a little time to catch my breath! At the time, I was the mother of a 3 year old and newborn and had no time to myself and little time to get necessary errands completed. CDO allowed that break for me and that FUN and GROWING time for my child.
3.) Children's Day Out provides a 2nd family for those new to the area! There are so many families who are new to Owensboro or who simply do not have grandparents right down the road to watch your precious one when you need to go to the grocery or get in that doctors appointment. We provide loving arms in a quality environment to ease your mind when help is not readily available.
4.) Children's Day Out provides a great community of caregivers who are in your shoes! Our new CDO Parents Club is a great opportunity to bond with fellow moms/caregivers who know what its like to always seem to have Cheerios stuck to their clothes! We host ongoing Play Dates for families to get to know each other and get to know the friends in your child's class.
5.) Children's Day Out provides small class numbers to allow more one on one attention from our CDO Staff! At CDO, we keep our numbers low so we can focus on each child in a loving environment and attend to everyone's needs. CDO class size is small so your child is not just a number but a focus of the teachers time and attention.
6.) Children's Day Out provides an early introduction to education! Along with a weekly theme, such as Sports, Beach, Fall, ETC, we have an educational theme of a Letter, Number, Color, and Shape that we will learn for that week. Through active play, Circle Time, and free play we incorporate these teaching themes for your child's growth.
7.) Children's Day Out provides an early introduction to the Bible! Our Christian staff pour God's love into your child through stories, hugs and songs. Along with the educational theme for each week, we have a scripture and Bible story theme for each week to introduce your child to a foundation of Faith in their lives. Staff gather each morning to pray over our day and pray for the children and parents in our CDO "family".
